George and Kenny Have Faith in the Class of 2008

The Goss-Michael Foundation has taken its scholarships statewide. International pop star and part-time Dallas resident, George Michael, and his partner, art collector and native Texan, Kenny Goss, have added a scholarship available to all Texas high school graduating seniors interested in pursuing a college education in visual arts. This scholarship is in addition to the three* previously announced scholarships made available to graduating seniors in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their artistic and scholastic achievements, school and community participation and leadership. The Goss-Michael Foundation exhibits Goss and Michael's contemporary British art collection estimated at $200 million, and continues to support the next generation of emerging artists through scholarship opportunities such as The Goss-Michael Foundation Texas Art Scholarship. The scholarship recipient will not only benefit financially, they will also be featured on The Goss- Michael Foundation website and monthly newsletter, and will have one piece of their work displayed at the Foundation.
